Senior Credit Analyst - SME Lending

Role Objective:

To design, implement, and lead underwriting and portfolio risk management for Fincoboxs SME lending products in the UAE, ensuring disciplined capital deployment, strong asset quality, and scalable credit governance for digitally-native SME borrowers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Underwriting Ownership

- Lead underwriting for Invoice Discounting, Revenue-Based Financing, and Inventory Financing

- Conduct deep bank statement and cashflow analysis

- Prepare structured credit memos with clear approval/decline rationale

- Maintain underwriting turnaround time within internal SLA

2. Credit Framework Development

- Build segment-wise underwriting frameworks tailored for digitally native businesses

- Define limit sizing methodology based on digital cashflow behavior

- Establish sector exposure caps and concentration thresholds

- Develop early warning trigger matrices

- Continuously refine credit filters to balance growth and risk

Required Experience:

- 5-10 years in SME lending / NBFC / fintech underwriting

- 3+ years of UAE SME Lending exposure

- Strong experience in cashflow-based lending

- Experience underwriting digitally native businesses

- Exposure to fintech or high-growth lending environments
