About the Role:

This role sits within a global credit research setup and works closely with international Credit Analysts supporting Financial Institutions/ Insurance companies across North American and European markets. The incumbent will contribute to credit assessments, financial analysis, and ratings support while collaborating with global stakeholders.

The position is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in credit analysis within Insurance or Financial Institutions who want exposure to global markets and rating frameworks.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Track and evaluate the credit performance of Financial Institutions or Insurance companies within assigned portfolios

2. Monitor industry, regulatory, and regional developments impacting the Insurance / FI sector

3. Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, and capital adequacy; build financial models and projections

4. Identify early warning signals and potential rating or outlook triggers

5. Apply established credit rating methodologies in ongoing analysis

6. Prepare internal credit assessment notes and support material for global Credit Analysts

7. Assist in drafting credit rating and research reports intended for external publication

8. Support timely response to credit events and client-driven analysis requests

Stakeholder Exposure:

1. Work closely with global Credit Analysts and international clients

2. Manage multiple requests across geographies and time zones

3. Contribute proactively to team and client priorities

Who We're Looking For:

1. 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, ratings, or credit research

2. Mandatory exposure to Insurance companies or Financial Institutions

3. Experience covering global markets (NA/Europe) preferred; domestic FI/Insurance exposure also acceptable

4. Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial concepts relevant to FI/Insurance

5. Excellent written communication and analytical skills

6. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and mentor junior team members

Education:

1. MBA (Finance) or equivalent
