Senior Credit Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to assess creditworthiness, manage credit risk, and support sound lending and investment decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, deep knowledge of credit risk frameworks, and the ability to provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate credit risk of corporate, commercial, or retail clients through detailed financial analysis

- Review financial statements, cash flow models, and credit reports

- Prepare credit proposals, risk assessments, and recommendation memos

- Monitor existing credit exposures and identify early warning signals

- Conduct industry, market, and peer analysis

- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements

- Support credit committees with data-driven insights and recommendations

- Mentor junior credit analysts and review their work

- Collaborate with relationship managers, risk teams, and underwriting teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and ratio analysis

- In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment and underwriting standards

- Experience with corporate/commercial/consumer lending (as applicable)

- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools

- Familiarity with credit rating agencies and risk scoring models

- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements

- Excellent analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills
