About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Corporate Credit Manager to manage credit evaluation and risk assessment for large and mid-corporate clients across multiple sectors. The role involves detailed financial analysis, credit underwriting, risk mitigation, client engagement, and coordination with internal stakeholders to support quality credit decisions and business growth.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in corporate credit analysis, financial modeling, project finance exposure, and relationship management within the banking or financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities :
Credit Assessment & Risk Analysis :
- Conduct detailed credit risk assessments for Large and Mid-Corporate clients across diverse industries.
- Analyze financial statements, annual reports, cash flows, and management commentary to identify key risk indicators and business performance trends.
- Perform industry analysis, business analysis, management evaluation, and ratio analysis to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure.
- Identify potential risk triggers and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Financial Modelling & Deal Evaluation :
- Build and maintain complex financial models for evaluating lending opportunities, including scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity analysis.
- Assess project viability, repayment capacity, and overall deal structure from a credit risk perspective.
- Support high-yield and structured financing opportunities in coordination with Project Finance teams.
Credit Proposal & Documentation :
- Independently prepare renewal proposals, credit notes, and sanction memos for existing and new-to-bank (NTB) clients.
- Evaluate security structures, covenants, pricing, and risk-return parameters.
- Ensure timely completion of loan documentation and adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
Stakeholder & Client Management :
- Advise Relationship Managers (RMs) on risk assessment, deal structuring, security terms, and covenant frameworks.
- Engage with clients for closure of loan documentation and utilization of sanctioned credit facilities.
- Support cross-selling opportunities through regular client engagement and relationship management.
Cross-Functional Coordination :
- Liaise closely with internal teams including :
1. Credit Risk
2. Treasury & Markets
3. Supply Chain Finance
4. Project Finance
5. Transaction Banking
- Ensure seamless execution of credit proposals and enable holistic banking solutions for clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Credit Analysis, Credit Risk, or Corporate Banking.
Strong understanding of :

- Hands-on experience in financial modeling and credit proposal preparation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
