Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst / Financial Modeling Analyst , will be responsible for building and maintaining detailed financial models, conducting credit analysis, and providing insights to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, including company financials, KPIs, capital structure, valuation analysis.
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis, monitoring industry trends, and assessing the credit impact of company-specific developments.
- Collaborate with front-office analysts to evaluate corporate credit quality and provide timely updates on financial models.
- Perform relative value analysis and other ad-hoc projects, including data compilation and analysis, due diligence insights to the front-office team and expand responsibilities into industry coverage over time.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance or a related field, or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, or a similar role.
- Strong fundamental corporate credit analysis skills, with the ability to assess credit risk and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and industry research.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-yield, stressed, and distressed credits.
- Strong understanding of credit markets and industry trends.
- Prior experience working in a front-office or credit analysis role.
