Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Editorial Direction
- Translate brand positioning and business objectives into clear editorial frameworks.
- Develop both long-form and short-form content strategies aligned with funnel stages (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU).
- Build and maintain tone of voice, messaging guidelines, and editorial standards for consistency across all channels.
Content Planning & Development
- Own the planning and execution of content calendars across blogs, websites, ad copy, video scripts, case studies, and more.
- Define content structures with strong hooks, narrative arcs, and CTAs optimized for engagement and conversions.
- Conduct audience research, competitive benchmarking, and content audits using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and SurferSEO.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with SEO, Design, and Social Media teams to ensure cohesive multi-channel execution.
- Guide writers and editors through structured review loops, content templates, and performance-driven feedback systems.
- Act as a thought partner to business stakeholders, ensuring content strategy aligns with marketing and sales priorities.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Track and analyze KPIs including traffic, bounce rate, time on page, CTR, and conversions.
- Leverage insights to iterate, optimize, and scale content strategies for higher ROI.
- Report on content performance and present recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in content strategy, editorial planning, or content marketing.
- Proven expertise in developing content frameworks that support brand positioning and business objectives.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword mapping, and funnel-based content planning.
- Hands-on experience with content analytics tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, SurferSEO (or similar).
- Excellent editorial judgment and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt voice across formats.
- Strong leadership in guiding content teams through structured processes, templates, and review systems.
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
