Workday Finance Senior Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Expertise in end-to-end workday finance domains including P2P, Expenses, R2R, Accounting, Banking, O2C, and C2C, with strong understanding of settlements and complex financial processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead issue resolution efforts, coordinating and directing team members when required.
- Hands-on experience in full-cycle Workday implementations, including design, configuration, and deployment.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Finance, and Business teams) to gather requirements and transform them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Apply strong consulting skills and business acumen to align Workday capabilities with client objectives, driving measurable business outcomes.
- Ensure system optimization, data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct Workday health checks and implement optimization roadmaps for clients in production.
- Proactively analyze Workday releases and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve configuration and functional issues effectively.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving Workday features.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent multitasking and time management abilities in fast-paced environments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Workday Financials experience
- Strong configuration proficiency across Workday core Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Procurement).
- Experience with at least one of the following: Talent & Performance, Learning, or Time & Absence configuration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops and influence senior finance stakeholders.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial close processes.
- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or Workday Payroll.
- Background in finance transformation or ERP migration from legacy systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Multi-entity or multi-currency implementation experience.
- Workday Pro certification in Financials (current or in-progress).
