- We are looking for a Senior Manager to architect the national scale-up of one of India's most successful regenerative agriculture programs.
- Currently at a critical inflection point, the program has proven its model with 1,500+ farmers and is now ready to explode to 30,000+ and beyond.
- You will be embedded as the strategic lead within the social impact arm of a global organisation.
- This is a "boots-on-the-ground" residency where you own the blueprint, the budget, and the legacy of a program backed by the world's most influential philanthropic foundations.
The Role:
- You are the bridge between the boardroom and the field.
- You will be seconded to our partner's Mumbai headquarters to lead a high-velocity diagnostic and design the organizational engine for a state-wide expansion.
- Design the Blueprint: You aren't just managing a program; you are building the organizational architecture (hiring plans, delivery models, and tech stacks) required to support tens of thousands of farmers.
- High-Stakes Stewardship: You will be the primary point of contact for a "who's who" of stakeholders, from global philanthropic officers (Gates Foundation) and state government leaders to grassroots Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
- Embedded Leadership: You will walk into the partner's office every day as a trusted advisor, mentoring their internal teams and driving the implementation roadmap with relentless "operational grit.
- Evidence-Based Influence: You will turn field-level data from rural Maharashtra into compelling narratives that unlock millions in funding and shift national policy.
Who You Are:
- The Strategic Heavyweight: You have 8-12 years of experience in strategy consulting, organizational development, or large-scale program leadership.
- You know how to build systems that don't break under pressure.
- The Rural Navigator: You are credible in the field.
- You understand FPOs, agricultural value chains, and rural livelihoods not just from a textbook, but from the dust and reality of rural India.
- The Master Communicator: You can navigate the nuances of a corporate boardroom and the complexities of a village collective with equal ease and empathy.
- The April 1st Starter: You thrive on ambitious timelines.
- We need someone in-seat in Mumbai by April 1 to hit the ground running for the upcoming season.
Why This Role?
- This is a career-defining engagement.
- It is an opportunity to lead a "foundation-building" project that will serve as the gold standard for regenerative agriculture and institutional strengthening in India.
- You will be at the center of an ecosystem that includes corporate power, global philanthropy, and state-level governance.
