Job Description

We are hiring IT Consultants and Senior Consultants for a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) IT Advisory practice.

This role involves working across the entire M&A lifecycle, including IT Due Diligence, Integration, Separation, TSA management, and Day 1 / Day 2 transformation initiatives for large enterprise clients.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and program execution capabilities, along with exposure to technology transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities


1. Client Deliverables & Analysis

- Develop high-quality client deliverables, documentation, and executive-level presentations

- Select and apply appropriate tools and techniques (business case development, financial modeling, analytics)

- Analyze project data, derive insights, and provide actionable recommendations

- Support PMO activities, project governance, and process improvement initiatives

2. Client Interaction & Stakeholder Management

- Conduct client interviews to validate assumptions and analysis

- Participate in workshops, training sessions, and working meetings

- Present insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders

- Build and maintain strong client relationships

3. Engagement & Team Management

- Own and manage defined workstreams within engagements

- Develop and track plans for assigned components of projects

- Coordinate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

- Identify scope changes and support change management

- Mentor and guide junior team members

Required Skills & Experience


Mergers & Acquisitions (Preferred)

- IT Due Diligence

- Day 1 / Day 2 readiness planning

- IT Integration & Separation

- Business continuity planning

- Synergy identification and realization

- One-time cost and stranded cost analysis

- System cutovers and testing

- Transition Service Agreements (TSA)

Digital & Technology Transformation

- Understanding of enterprise IT landscapes and IT strategy

- Experience in IT integration, separation, and transformation programs

- Exposure to enterprise systems such as:

o ERP (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)

o CRM, HRIS, Big Data platforms

- Experience across key IT domains:

o Applications (SDLC)

o Enterprise Architecture

o Infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Network, End User Computing, Service Desk)

o Data Center Strategy (Optimization, Consolidation, Co-location)

o Data Migration (strategy & planning)

o Cybersecurity & Identity Access Management

o IT Operating Model & IT Financials (OpEx / CapEx, Synergies)

o TSA management

Solution Advisory

- Advising clients on technology-led transformation initiatives such as:

o Application rationalization

o Cloud strategy

o Infrastructure virtualization

o Data management solutions
