Senior Consultant - M&A/Financial Modeling

Job Description: Senior Consultant M&A

Overview:

A Senior Consultant in an M&A advisory outfit will support transaction execution, financial analysis, strategic evaluation, and client delivery across buy-side mandates. The role is suited to a candidate with strong financial modelling capability, experience in preparing business plans, management presentations, and practical exposure to inbound transactions and acquisition processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and review detailed financial models, including valuation models, scenario analysis.

- Prepare business plans, management presentations, and board-level discussion materials.

- Analyse historical financial statements, business performance, operational metrics, and forecast assumptions to identify risks and value drivers.

- Support execution of inbound M&A opportunities, including target screening, investor/client coordination, process management, and transaction tracking.

- Assist in managing the end-to-end acquisition process, including NDA execution, information flow, diligence coordination, valuation assessment, term sheet support, SPA/SSA process tracking, and closing workstreams.

- Coordinate with clients, investors, lenders, legal advisors, tax advisors, diligence teams, and other stakeholders during live transactions.
