Location: Gurgaon / Mumbai

A leading BIG4 consulting firm is looking to hire experienced professionals for its Deal Transformation, M&A Operations, and Post-Merger Integration practice within the Financial Services sector.

Experience Required:

Senior Consultant: 3+ Years

Manager: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and lead operational due diligence, post-merger integration, carve-out, and separation engagements for Financial Services clients.

- Assist clients across the transaction lifecycle, including pre-deal assessments, Day 1 readiness, integration planning, synergy realization, and value creation initiatives.

- Drive operating model design, governance framework development, and transformation roadmap creation.

- Manage workstreams across Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Shared Services functions.

- Identify operational risks, dependencies, and opportunities for performance improvement and cost optimization.

- Conduct stakeholder workshops, client interviews, process assessments, and executive-level presentations.

- Develop integration and separation strategies, implementation plans, and project management frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of transaction-related initiatives.

Preferred Background:

- CA / MBA or equivalent qualification.

- Experience in Transaction Services, M&A Advisory, Deal Transformation, Post-Merger Integration, Separation, Operational Due Diligence, or Value Creation.

- Prior exposure to Financial Services clients including Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, FinTech, or Capital Markets.

- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle, operating model design, synergy assessment, and transformation initiatives.

- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Experience working in consulting, advisory, or transaction-focused environments will be preferred.

- Exposure to cross-border transactions and global engagements would be an added advantage.
