Senior Consultant/Manager - Financial Due Diligence - CA

Location : Mumbai

Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience : 3-5 years post-qualification (Indian deals experience preferred)

About the Role:

- We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Financial Due Diligence (FDD) team of one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Mumbai. The role focuses on Indian M&A transactions, supporting clients with financial analysis, deal evaluation, and risk assessment across various sectors.

- You'll be part of a dynamic team that works closely with corporate and private equity clients, providing data-driven insights to support investment decisions and value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute financial due diligence engagements for Indian buy-side and sell-side transactions.

- Analyze financial statements, EBITDA trends, working capital movements, and other key deal metrics.

- Identify deal issues, potential risks, and value drivers impacting transaction decisions.

- Prepare high-quality reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

- Collaborate with internal teams including Tax, Valuation, and M&A Advisory to deliver integrated deal insights.

- Supervise junior team members, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

- Support business development initiatives and contribute to proposal drafting for new mandates.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Advisory / M&A.

- Prior experience in Indian due diligence engagements is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, company financials, and deal structures.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client management skills.

- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and report preparation.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
