Senior Consultant/Manager - Financial & Regulatory Reporting - Banking/Financial Services

Senior Consultant / Manager Financial & Regulatory Reporting (US GAAP / IFRS):

Location: Mumbai (WFO)

Notice Period: Preferred joining within 46 weeks.

Senior Consultant (510 years):

- 510 years of total experience in financial or regulatory reporting.

- Strong hands-on orientation in preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory returns.

- Ability to independently handle reporting processes with guidance from Manager / AVP.

Manager (812+ years):

- 812+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility in financial and regulatory reporting.

- Proven track record of owning end-to-end reporting processes and control environment.

- Experience in managing small teams or leading cross-functional initiatives in reporting or finance.

Required Skills and Experience:

Common (Both Roles):

- Strong practical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, with hands-on experience in financial reporting and month-end close.

- Experience working in a bank, NBFC, financial institution, Big 4, or large corporate with complex balance sheets.

- Good understanding of balance sheet products: derivatives, collateral, repos / reverse repos, and fair value measurement.

Exposure to at least one regulatory framework:

- 1. EU: FINREP, COREP, Basel III capital and liquidity reporting, or similar.

- 2. US: FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, or other US banking regulatory reports.

- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret reporting instructions, and challenge data and results where required.

- Solid understanding of data flows, reconciliations, and reporting architecture in a regulated environment.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams (Finance, Risk, Technology, Audit).
