Role Overview - Senior Consultant, GBS Advisory
- As a Senior Consultant in the GBS Advisory practice, you will play a key role in delivering GCC strategy and transformation programs, supporting Managers and above in analysis, design, and execution.
- You will work closely with senior leaders up to Partner level, as well as cross-functional teams and global member firms, contributing to both client delivery and practice development.
- This role offers strong exposure to end-to-end GCC programs, global clients, and the design-transform-operate model.
Key Responsibilities:
GBS Strategy & Operating Model Design:
- Support and co-lead GBS strategy and business case development
- Develop detailed value cases covering cost, productivity, talent, and scalability
- Support location assessments, workforce planning, and feasibility analysis
Target Operating Model & Transition Delivery:
- Design key components of GBS Target Operating Models (governance, service scope, sourcing)
- Support transitions across Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, Analytics, and Digital
- Track stabilization metrics and service performance
Digital & Analytics Enablement:
- Apply analytics, process mining, and automation concepts within GBS and Outsourcing programs
- Work with digital and AI teams to embed technology into delivery models
Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
- Work with client managers and internal team leads
- Conduct project management activities
- Conduct market research and analysis to provide insights to the client team
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
- Mentor junior consultants and analysts
Practice Development:
- Contribute to RFPs, solutioning, and proposal development
- Support IP creation, thought leadership, and capability building
Note: This role involves extensive domestic and international travel.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-7 years of consulting or transformation experience
- Bachelor's degree from Tier 1 college / Chartered Accountant; Master's / MBA preferred
- Exposure to GBS / shared services / outsourcing strategy, design, and transition management
- Exposure to large-scale, multi-functional transformation programs
- Ability to work effectively across functions, geographies, and internal teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Experience in executing technology-led transformation programs
- Expertise in one or more shared services functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, or IT operations is a plus
- Exposure to vendor management strategy and operations is a plus
- Exposure to technologies such as AWS, Azure, Data Analytics, Automation, and Engineering tools is a plus
