The profile of work that currently happens in the India Office includes:

Cost and Run Optimization: Strategy and Execution

- Comprehensive sourcing and shoring strategy (retained or outsourced) to support IT/BPS transformation and/or cost optimization covering assessment of current IT/BPS operations, defining future state operating model, developing business case to do a cost-benefit analysis, and the execution roadmap.

- Sourcing RFP development and rollout, service provider commercial negotiations, SOW commercial exhibits creation, and client management in the sourcing journey

- Analysis and client syndication of service provider bids in the pre-BAFO and BAFO rounds/ Assist enterprise clients with provider site visits on ongoing outsourcing transactions

Global Capability Center Advisory

- Work with our external GCC advisory alliances (to execute and run client operations) in India to further the growth of the GCC advisory capability for company.

Fairness Opinion Services and Benchmarking Advisory

- IT and BPO portfolio Benchmarking and Health Checks to identify areas of improvement in client existing retained and outsourced operations, service provider portfolios, spending, etc.

The Senior Consultant will be involved in all aspects of practice management i.e.,

Client Engagement:

Actively engage on ongoing engagements with enterprise clients, this typically entails environment and services portfolio, developing best-in-class targets or benchmarks for various parameters, crafting specific sections of RFPs that are rolled out to potential service providers, assessing the competitiveness of service provider proposals, setting negotiation targets, assisting in negotiations with service providers, etc.

- Understand the provider's solution and delivery capabilities,automation framework,cost structures, pricing buildups, etc., and compare them with custom-developed benchmarks. /Maintain on an ongoing basis the IT pricing, performance, delivery, T&Cs, etc.) with oversight support from the practice leaders Get involved in recommending/instituting mechanisms (people, process, technology) for perpetual database updates.

- Data analysis, financial modeling, benchmarking, and reporting on active client engagements.

- Analysis, financial modeling, synthesizing observations/recommendations, benchmarking, and reporting on active client engagements.

- Support the engagement leaders in practice P&L responsibilities such as business development, marketing, straddling multiple benchmarking engagements, revenue, and profitability discussions with leadership, etc.

- Develop a strong reputation within and outside the firm based on the quality of work and insights delivered to clients, as well as by helping publish top-quality content (whitepapers/viewpoints/blogs, etc.)

Practice Development

- Lead the packaging of advisory content from the firm's engagements, advisor connects and COE engagements for internal and external publishing and marketing.

- Work closely with the engagement leaders in practice-building initiatives including, benchmarking database set-up/management, active client delivery, sales & marketing support, and provide data analysis, and research support for product development.

- Build and growth of existing/new products.

- Collaborate with the practice leaders and Marketing on ideas to synthesize/package practice capabilities, IP, and engagement takeaways into marketable content.

- Mentor Consultants in the team and oversee their efforts.

Education and Experience

We are seeking a high-caliber individual to maintain our exceptional standards. This person should have:

- 4+ years of relevant experience

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and oral presentation skills

- Strong understanding of IT and Business Process outsourcing industry and transaction dynamics based on working experience with service providers OR sourcing advisory experience within management consulting firms.

- Prior experience in, and ability to comprehend, trends in outsourcing, shared services, and digital transformation.

- Desirable to have exposure to pricing/benchmarking in IT and/or BPO domains.

- Collaborative work style; strong interpersonal and team skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Tech; MBA preferred but the right experience and skills take precedence
