Senior Consultant - Banking Transformation - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

The role is focused on advising leading banks and financial institutions on business transformation initiatives, process re-engineering, operating model enhancement, and customer experience transformation. Specifically looking for professionals who have worked within Indian Banks and have led or contributed to transformation programs from a business and operations perspective, rather than purely technology implementation roles.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Support delivery of large-scale banking transformation engagements across retail banking and lending businesses.

- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

- Assist clients in redesigning customer journeys across liabilities and lending products.

- Conduct process diagnostics, gap assessments, and target operating model design.

- Develop business requirements, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans.

- Support stakeholder management across business, operations, risk, and technology teams.

- Prepare client presentations, steering committee materials, and executive reports.

- Track project milestones and support program management activities.

Required Skillsets:

Must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas within the Indian banking ecosystem:

1. Liabilities Products:

- CASA, Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, Deposits Growth and Customer Acquisition

2. Lending Transformation:

- Retail Lending, Personal Loans, Home Loans, Business Banking Loans, MSME Lending, Loan Origination Process

3. Credit Journey Transformation:

- Lending Operations Optimization, Customer Journey & Experience Transformation, Customer Onboarding, Digital Banking Journeys, Branch Transformation, Service Journey Redesign, Omnichannel Experience, Customer Lifecycle Management, Customer Experience (CX) Programs

4. Business Transformation:

- Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Operating Model Design, Process Excellence, Business Transformation Programs, Service Delivery Transformation, Productivity and Efficiency Improvement
