Our client, a global consulting firm, is partnering with a leading large private bank in the financial services sector to drive strategic enhancements in its operations. This engagement centers on a comprehensive transformation program aimed at optimizing the bank's affordable housing business, addressing key challenges in market positioning, efficiency, and growth amid evolving regulatory and economic landscapes.

In this role, the consultant will play a pivotal part by providing expert insights to shape the bank's strategic direction, ultimately helping to enhance profitability, risk management, and organizational effectiveness. Their contributions will have a direct impact on scaling the affordable housing portfolio, fostering sustainable business practices, and positioning the bank as a market leader in this vital segment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic inputs on overall sales approaches, including market segmentation, customer acquisition tactics, and revenue optimization strategies

- Advise on credit strategy development, encompassing risk assessment models, lending policies, and compliance frameworks tailored to affordable housing

- Contribute to organizational structure design, recommending hierarchies, roles, and processes to improve operational agility and cross-functional collaboration

- Collaborate closely with the bank's senior leadership and our consulting team to align recommendations with business objectives and industry best practices

- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics in affordable housing to inform data-driven decisions and innovative solutions

- Deliver actionable insights and reports that influence key business transformations and long-term planning

Your Background:

- 10-15+ years of hands-on experience in the affordable housing business, gained from roles in PSU banks, NBFCs, or private banks

- Deep understanding of the affordable housing market, including regulatory environments, customer needs, and economic factors

- Proven expertise in sales strategy, credit management, and organizational design within financial services

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of driving business improvements in similar sectors

- Educational background is flexible, with priority given to relevant professional experience over formal qualifications
