Industry: Legal firm - 22 years old a leading advisory firm with expertise in Accounting, Audit, Taxation, and Compliance Services. The firm provides services to startups, Fortune 500 companies, and government organizations. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Company Secretary to manage our secretarial functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and well-versed in corporate law, compliance, and governance. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update secretarial records of the company. - Prepare and file forms, returns, and applications with government authorities. - Conduct Board meetings, Committee meetings, and Annual General Meetings (AGMs). - Prepare agendas, minutes, and notes for Board and Committee meetings. - Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and RBI norms. - Manage interactions with regulatory bodies (e.g., Ministry of Corporate Affairs, RBI). - Assist in the preparation of the company's annual report. - Handle complaints and investor grievances effectively. - Liaise with auditors, legal departments, and other stakeholders. - Support the Company Secretary in daily activities and compliance tasks. Skills: - Proficiency in preparing statutory filings and compliance documentation. - Strong understanding of Indian corporate law and compliance regulations. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. - Proficient in MS Office and secretarial software. Work Environment: Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday), with alternate Saturdays off. Working Hours: 10 AM - 7 PM.
