Senior Category Manager/Supply Manager - Retail

About the Role:

We are looking for a Supply Head - Fashion to establish and lead the fashion supply function. This is a high-ownership role where you will be responsible for building the vendor ecosystem, driving category growth, and setting up processes from the ground up.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in offline value-fashion retail, understands vendor sourcing and onboarding, and can build a scalable supply organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding for the fashion business.

- Build and strengthen relationships with manufacturers and suppliers across key sourcing hubs.

- Drive category growth through effective assortment planning and vendor management.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product availability and inventory health.

- Develop demand planning strategies to balance sales, inventory, and working capital.

- Monitor inventory performance and implement initiatives to reduce excess and obsolete stock.

- Build and mentor the fashion supply and category management teams as the business scales.

- Drive sourcing strategies for value-fashion categories with a strong focus on operational efficiency.

Required Experience:

- 4-10 years of relevant experience in fashion sourcing, buying, category management, or supply.

- Hands-on experience in vendor onboarding within the fashion industry.

- Experience working with offline/physical retail businesses.

- Strong understanding of women's fashion and value-fashion categories.

- Exposure to inventory planning, demand forecasting, and category performance management.

- Ability to independently build supplier networks and manage vendor relationships.

- Experience collaborating with manufacturers and negotiating commercial terms.

- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
