We are looking for a Category Manager to take end-to-end ownership of one of our branded distribution channels (e.g., digital marketplaces or strategic B2B clients). This role involves managing internal operations and external partnerships to ensure a seamless go-to-market engine for specific sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Ownership & P&L Management :
- Take end-to-end ownership of a branded sales channel (e.g., marketplace partner or B2B client), including P&L responsibility, performance tracking, and strategic execution.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Execution :
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless backend execution - covering inventory planning, dispatch readiness, pricing, and product availability.
Client & Stakeholder Communication :
- Act as the SPoC for external partners and internal stakeholders, managing communication, solving operational issues, and ensuring alignment on business goals.
Go-To-Market Implementation :
- Lead execution of GTM initiatives such as launching branded storefronts, running promotions, managing listings, and driving channel-specific visibility campaigns.
Performance Monitoring & Process Optimization :
- Track key metrics (sales, margins, fill rates, returns) and drive continuous improvement through data-backed insights and operational enhancements.
Reporting & Business Insights -
Generate periodic business updates and actionable insights to support decision-making, channel strategy, and future planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of experience in category/channel/project management in FMCG, agritech, e-commerce, retail, or B2B distribution.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
- Strong planning, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- High ownership mindset with a willingness to deep-dive into execution.
- Familiarity with supply chain, inventory planning, pricing strategy, and channel activation.
