Senior Category Manager
Description:
Driving Sales & Business Growth:
- Own top-line revenue targets within the defined investment budget to achieve overall P&L objectives.
- Develop and execute plans to improve key site metrics including conversion rate, AOV, and other performance KPIs.
- Drive business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities within existing and new brand partnerships.
- Manage website content in alignment with monthly campaigns, seasonal promotions, and broader marketing strategies.
- Lead strategic projects and promotional initiatives to accelerate category performance.
Brand Management & Vendor Partnerships:
- Build and manage strong relationships with brand partners.
- Lead vendor negotiations including commercials, trade margins, marketing budgets, and promotional investments.
Desired years of experience: 6-9 years
- Secure margins in line with organizational guidelines.
- Set performance goals with brand partners and monitor execution against agreed plans.
- Plan and execute brand campaigns across digital platforms and take corrective actions as required.
- Drive awareness and recognition goals for accountable brands.
- Report performance against key metrics in approved formats.
Forecasting, Monitoring & Reporting:
- Own category forecasting and demand planning in collaboration with supply chain and operations teams.
- Monitor performance trends, identify gaps, and recommend corrective strategies.
- Analyse internal and external market variables to inform planning decisions.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business performance.
Operations & Customer Experience:
- Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory management and fulfilment efficiency.
- Develop and refine processes to improve customer retention and repeat purchases.
- Drive banner revenue through list growth, segmentation, and improved efficiency.
- Analyse user journeys and website performance using web analytics to identify customer experience improvements across channels and touchpoints.
