We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to drive business expansion initiatives in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
2.Identify and pursue new projects, clients, partnerships, and collaborations.
3.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors.
4.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
5.Prepare and present proposals, tenders, technical submissions, and business presentations.
6.Negotiate contracts and close deals ensuring profitable business outcomes.
7.Coordinate with internal teams including estimation, marketing, and operations for project execution.
8.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and report business performance to management.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor's / Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2.Minimum 7+ years of experience in business development within the construction industry.
3.Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
4.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5.Good industry network and client relationship management skills.
6.Strategic thinking and analytical ability.
7.Willingness to travel (up to 40%).
Desirable Qualifications:
1.BE-Civil / B.Tech Civil with MBA or PGDM preferred.
2.Experience in handling mid to large-scale projects.
3.Knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards.
4.Experience in leading small teams or business development executives.
