Role Overview:
As a Senior Business & Data Analyst specializing in Sales Incentives and Commissions, you will serve as the bridge between complex sales data and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for designing, modeling, and auditing incentive structures that drive high-performance sales behaviors across the organization. Working closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams, you will translate business objectives into actionable compensation plans and ensure the accuracy of commission payouts. Your work will directly influence the motivation of the sales force and the overall profitability of the business, ensuring that our incentive programs are both competitive and fiscally responsible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust sales incentive models that align with organizational revenue targets and drive desired sales behaviors.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis on commission structures to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for plan optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Finance and Sales to ensure seamless end-to-end commission processing and timely dispute resolution.
- Develop automated reporting dashboards to provide leadership with real-time visibility into sales performance and incentive expenditure.
- Conduct regular audits of incentive data to maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and governance across all sales territories.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in business analysis and sales incentive modeling, with a strong ability to translate complex business logic into scalable data structures.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel for data manipulation, coupled with hands-on experience in BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize performance metrics.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to explain intricate commission logic to non-technical stakeholders and resolve complex queries with empathy and clarity.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Bangalore, managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute, reflecting a strong analytical foundation.
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in a high-growth environment, specifically focusing on sales operations or compensation analytics.
