Senior Business Analyst - P&C Insurance Domain

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst with experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance to join a leading business and technology consulting firm.

You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring clear requirements, smooth delivery, and continuous improvement of insurance products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements related to P&C insurance (underwriting, claims, policy administration, etc.)

- Develop and maintain user stories and product documentation in Jira or equivalent tools

- Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and product quality

- Support testing activities including UAT, ensuring product releases meet business needs

- Work closely with engineering teams to facilitate smooth implementation of new features and fixes

- Stay abreast of industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes in P&C insurance

- Participate in AI/ML proof-of-concepts (PoCs) aimed at optimizing insurance workflows and decision-making

Qualifications:

- MBA or equivalent degree with a strong business and analytical focus

- 3 to 6 years of experience in the P&C insurance domain, preferably across underwriting, claims, and policy management functions

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business problems

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in creating clear and concise documentation

- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
