Senior Business Analyst - Financial Services

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Finacle Core Banking and Payments systems to join our Financial Services practice. You will act as a vital bridge between business teams and technology, driving digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into detailed BRDs/FSDs and user stories.

- Serve as a Finacle SME, managing payment modules (NEFT, RTGS, SWIFT, IMPS, UPI, etc.) and supporting configurations, enhancements, and integrations.

- Coordinate UAT and testing cycles, ensuring timely defect resolution and stakeholder sign-off.

- Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams for smooth project execution.

- Identify process improvement opportunities within payment workflows while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO20022).

- Mentor junior analysts and uphold project documentation quality and consistency.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6+ years of relevant experience in Banking/Payments; 10+ years total experience preferred.

- Strong understanding of payment life cycles, clearing, and settlement processes.

- Proficiency in Visio, Jira, Confluence, and basic SQL for analysis and validation.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Business, or Computer Science.

- Certifications such as CBAP, IIBA, or Payments-specific credentials.

- Experience in Digital Banking, Real-Time Payments, or Core Banking Migration projects.
