Roles and Responsibilities for Sr. Business Analyst Associate Product Owner
- Translate stated and implied client needs into data product requirements and detailed functional specifications.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Public Markets, Investment Management, and Asset Management domains to support data-driven business initiatives.
- Support the Data Product Owner (DPO) in discovery, intake, prioritization, delivery, and adoption of governance and data products.
- Proactively lead backlog refinement and product advisory sessions in the absence of the DPO.
- Assist in translating business requirements into Jira user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow/process flows.
- Create and maintain documentation for data products, including requirements, specifications, roadmaps, and process flows.
- Maintain and manage user stories, product documentation, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to capture requirements and communicate roadmap updates and delivery progress in coordination with the DPO.
- Demonstrate technical fluency when discussing APIs, data pipelines, system integrations, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
- Support the development of data and analytical solutions, including predictive models and algorithms, to enable business decision-making.
- Analyze product usage, adoption, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Create internal content showcasing data product use cases, quality, and business value delivered.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data products.
- Support investment data initiatives covering Holdings, Transactions, P&L, Performance, Security Master, and related Public Markets datasets.
- Work with business and technology teams to improve data quality, governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities across investment platforms.
