Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Techno-Functional Senior Manager with a strong
background in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Technology
Implementation. The ideal candidate will bring together consulting rigour and technology depth to deliver transformative procurement solutions for global clients. The role demands equal focus on solutioning, client delivery, and team leadership in both functional advisory and technical implementation spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and optimise procurement processes aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Source-to-Pay solutions across Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay modules.
- Translate client procurement and sourcing challenges into scalable technical solutions.
- Understand client business goals, challenges, and procurement maturity to tailor-fit-for-purpose solutions. Participate in solution design workshops to understand client business needs and recommend best-fit configurations within the product framework.
- Own the techno-functional delivery, ensuring milestones, P&L, profitability, and margin delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project charters including scope, timelines, work
- breakdown structure (WBS), stakeholder communication plans, and risk registers.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders such as CPOs, Procurement, Technology & Business Heads.
- Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure functional alignment and successful delivery.
- Guide configuration, integration, testing, and user training phases of the project lifecycle.
- Leverage data, automation, and analytics to enable client procurement transformation.
- Drive project governance, change management, and risk mitigation strategies. Regularly with client stakeholders through SteerCos and working groups, ensuring clear visibility and alignment across all levels.
- Manage and mentor a team of consultants to deliver high-impact solutions and meet SLAs and KPIs.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong domain expertise in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
- Hands-on experience in Tech Implementations (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus, GEP SMART, etc..)
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to interact at senior levels (CPO/Director level).
- Strong problem-solving mindset; ability to think "out-of-the-box" and craft strategic solutions.
- Experience in managing large teams and mentoring junior resources.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Persistent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing ambiguity.
- High analytical aptitude with the ability to link business outcomes to technical execution.
- Willingness to travel as per project requirements.
