Description:


Reporting to: Business Head


Location: Mumbai


Role Purpose: This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth through innovative product development and effective marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


Brand Strategy and Development:


- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to enhance market presence and drive growth.


- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align brand goals with business objectives.


White Space Analysis:


- Identify untapped market opportunities (white spaces) through consumer insights and market analysis.


- Develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand positioning.


New Product Development (NPD):


- Lead the development of new products, ensuring they meet consumer needs and brand standards.


- Work closely with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to launch innovative products that drive category growth.


Launch Management:


- Coordinate all aspects of new product launches, including marketing campaigns, packaging design, and distribution logistics.


- Ensure timely and successful launches by managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.


Packaging and Design:


- Oversee the design and development of packaging that reflects brand identity and appeals to target consumers.


- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and brand standards.


Consumer Experience:


- Manage consumer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.


- Foster a consumer-centric approach across the organization.


Team Leadership:


- Supervise a team of consumer affairs coordinators and other relevant staff.


- Coach team members to enhance their skills and performance.


Budget Management:


- Allocate and manage brand budgets effectively to achieve marketing and sales objectives.


- Monitor ROI on marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.


Collaboration and Communication:


- Work closely with advertising agencies, distributors, and other external partners to execute brand strategies.


- Communicate brand performance and strategies to senior management and stakeholders.


Skills and Qualifications:


- MBA Preferred with 7+ years of experience brand management or a related role, with experience in product development and marketing strategy.


- Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


- Understanding of consumer trends, market dynamics, and product development processes.
