Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the branch team to deliver consistent business growth and profitability.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies for gold loans in the local market.
- Monitor and maintain portfolio asset quality, ensuring minimal risk exposure.
- Ensure branch operational adherence to policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
- Build and sustain relationships with high-value customers and key stakeholders.
- Analyze local gold and precious metals market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Mentor and train branch staff to improve sales performance and operational excellence.
- Oversee customer service standards, ensuring timely resolution of queries and issues.
- Collaborate with senior management on business planning and performance reviews.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Sales & Operations Expertise: Strong track record in business development and branch operations.
- Gold Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of gold valuation and local market trends.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret market data and branch performance metrics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for customer and team engagement.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong aptitude for operational and customer-related problem resolution.
Technical Skills (Required):
- Understanding of branch banking software or financial services systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
Education:
- MBA or Postgraduate degree in Finance/Banking is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Indias gold and precious metals market and local market dynamics
