About the Opportunity:

We are a leading globally recognized U.S. accounting and advisory firm. We are looking for an experienced Senior Audit Associate to join our expanding Real Estate assurance practice. This role offers direct exposure to premium U.S. clients, complex cross-border transactions, and an accelerating career growth path within a collaborative corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engagement Leadership: Lead and execute end-to-end statutory and external audit engagements for U.S. Real Estate entities in strict accordance with US GAAP.

- Audit Execution: Plan and perform comprehensive audit procedures, including technical risk assessments, internal control testing (ICFR), substantive procedures, and complex analytical reviews.

- Financial Reporting: Audit and prepare financial statements (Statements of Financial Position, Activities, Cash Flows) alongside detailed compliance disclosures.

- Review & Quality Control: Perform thorough reviews of audit workpapers completed by junior associates and interns, providing actionable coaching and technical feedback.

- Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear, proactive communication channels with U.S.-based engagement leaders regarding audit findings, project status, and issue resolution.

Candidate Requirements:

- Qualifications: Professionally qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant).

- Experience: Minimum 2.5 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit / External Audit.

- Industry Focus: Proven end-to-end audit exposure within the Real Estate or construction sector is mandatory.

- Technical Framework: Strong, non-negotiable working knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards.
