We are seeking a seasoned leader for the role of Sr. Associate Vice President / Associate Vice President - Insurance Broking (Corporate Sales).
The incumbent will drive corporate insurance sales, lead strategic client acquisition, manage key enterprise relationships, and contribute to business growth across multiple general insurance lines.
This role demands strong leadership, deep broking expertise, and a proven track record of closing large, complex accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients across SMEs and large enterprises using a strategic, consultative approach.
- Drive business development for General Insurance products including Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, Cyber, and Employee Benefits.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Lead client engagements for inquiries, RFQs, and mandates, ensuring solution-oriented discussions.
- Clearly articulate product features, pricing structures, and impact on client profitability.
Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary relationship owner for key corporate clients and strategic accounts.
- Liaise with insurers, TPAs, and underwriters to secure optimal coverage, competitive pricing, and superior service levels.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify coverage gaps, and advise clients on risk mitigation strategies.
Market Intelligence & Leadership:
- Track industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to guide client strategy and organizational growth.
- Provide thought leadership on broking strategy, underwriting partnerships, and market positioning.
- Support leadership in driving overall revenue growth and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Skill Set:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate insurance sales or insurance broking.
- Strong understanding of broking dynamics, underwriting partnerships, and general insurance lines.
- Proven ability to close large corporate accounts and consistently exceed sales targets.
- Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities
