
Role Overview:
As a Senior Associate in Statutory Audit, you will serve as a pivotal member of our audit practice in Mumbai, leading complex engagements for a diverse portfolio of high-growth clients. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end statutory audits, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory frameworks while providing actionable insights to client management and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead statutory audit engagements for large-scale clients, ensuring all audit procedures are executed in strict accordance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end audit lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, field execution, and final reporting.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing technical guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Collaborate closely with client finance teams to resolve audit queries, identify control deficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
- Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Statutory Audit, with a proven ability to interpret and apply IFRS and GAAP standards.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Communicate complex financial concepts effectively to senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Adapt seamlessly to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai, managing multiple competing priorities.
- Leverage 3 - 6 years of relevant experience to drive audit efficiency.
