Role Overview:

As a Senior Qualified Associate in Statutory Audit, you will serve as a cornerstone of our assurance practice in Mumbai, leading complex audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of high-growth clients. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end statutory audits, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory frameworks, and providing actionable insights that drive financial transparency. Working closely with audit partners, client leadership, and cross-functional engagement teams, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting. Your work directly impacts the trust our clients place in their financial statements, ultimately supporting their strategic decision-making and long-term business stability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning and execution of statutory audits to ensure timely delivery and adherence to high-quality assurance standards for our corporate clients.

- Perform detailed reviews of financial statements to ensure strict compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements, mitigating financial risk for stakeholders.

- Manage day-to-day interactions with client finance teams to resolve complex accounting queries and facilitate a seamless audit process.

- Mentor and supervise junior team members during fieldwork to foster professional development and ensure consistent audit methodology across engagements.

- Analyze financial data and internal controls to identify potential process improvements, providing value-added recommendations to client management.

Required Skillset:

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 3 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable audit firm.

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in financial reporting standards, including IFRS and GAAP, with the ability to interpret complex accounting treatments.

- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail when reviewing financial records and audit documentation.

- Communicate complex financial findings clearly and professionally to senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
