Sr. Associate - Private Credit (Real Assets)

Location: Mumbai

About the Opportunity:

The candidate will be an integral part of the structured credit / private credit team and will be working closely with the Head of Private Credit in overseeing the overall real asset portfolio, evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting day to day portfolio management and monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate investment opportunities in areas of structured/private credit - real assets space.

- Sectors could be renewable energy, commercial real estate, reits and Invits, warehousing, roads etc.

- Analyzing financial statements, business models, preparing and working on financial models.

- Good understanding of structured debt/Corporate lending deals and risk assessment.

- Maintaining MIS and tracking portfolio performance efficiently.

Key Requirements:

- The candidate should have a masters in finance from a Tier 1 institute and/or a CFA/CA.

- Possess 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in credit evaluation/underwriting of opportunities either in corporate credit or structured finance.

- Strong analytical skills, good risk assessment approach, an ability to pay attention to detail, and persistence to dive deep into a research or diligence process.

- Candidates with excellent fundamental corporate credit analysis and financial modelling skills.

- Preferred industry: Investment Banks/ Big 4 Advisory Firms/ Banks /NBFC.
