Senior Associate - People & Culture - NGO/Social Service

This role is for a tech for good non-profit in Bangalore. Details of the company will be shared directly with shortlisted candidates.

The Role:

The Senior Associate - People & Culture will lead employee engagement and analytics at this company. They will design how we listen to employees, turn people data into insight and work with leaders to act on it. The role also includes HR business partnering and some oversight of HR operations.

What You'll Do:

1. Employee Engagement:

- Own the engagement strategy across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit

- Design and run listening mechanisms: engagement and pulse surveys, feedback forums, skip-levels and exit interviews

- Turn feedback into clear action plans with leaders and track whether those actions happen

- Lead culture-building programmes and strengthen eGov's employee value proposition (EVP)

- Build engagement practices that work for distributed and remote teams

2. People Analytics & Reporting:

- Define and track key people metrics such as engagement, attrition, retention, performance, hiring and diversity

- Build and maintain dashboards for leadership reviews

- Bring data-led recommendations to the HR team that help shape HR decisions with evidence

- Maintain the quality and consistency of people data across systems

3. HR Partnering & Support:

- Support managers on team needs, performance reviews and people issues

- Help identify learning needs and support career growth

- Work with the HR operations team to keep HR data and processes accurate

What We're Looking For:

- 3+ years of HR experience, with significant exposure to employee engagement and HR operations

- Strong understanding of HR best practices and application of technology in HR

- Experience in managing and executing employee engagement and culture initiatives

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into a clear story

- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence teams and culture

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
