Description:
Position: Senior Associate
Location: New Delhi (South Delhi)
Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with exposure to trading, finance, M&A, or consulting.
Professional Qualification: CA / CFA / MBA from a reputed institute.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed research and analysis across key Oil & Gas segments including CGD, LNG, oil markets, refining, and petrochemicals.
- Develop financial models for transactions in the Oil & Gas space.
- Prepare transaction-related presentations, investment notes, and proposals.
- Advise clients on business development and growth opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Analyse trade flows, transaction economics, and associated risks.
- Support and advise on strategic tie-ups, joint ventures, and alliances.
- Manage and execute multiple transactions and advisory assignments simultaneously.
Skill Sets:
- Strong experience in Oil & Gas research, analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Proven ability to build financial models and business plans.
- Sound understanding of the regulatory framework governing the Oil & Gas sector.
- Knowledge of international Oil & Gas markets, including geopolitical dynamics and their implications.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, data management, report writing, and presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight timelines.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and research capabilities.
- Resourceful self-starter, capable of working independently as well as in teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with client-facing exposure.
