Senior Associate II - Value Creation - IIM/MDI/ISB

Responsibilities:

- Project delivery & analysis

1. Perform structured analysis across cost structures, KPIs, benchmarking, and operational performance to support value creation initiatives.

2. Support workstreams across operational diligence (ODD), integration, carve-out execution, and value tracking.

3. Build and maintain financial models, trackers, and data-driven outputs to support deal teams.

4. Synthesize management inputs and large datasets into clear findings, observations, and structured insights.

- Tool Development & knowledge enablement

1. Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools, templates, and analytical frameworks to support consistent and efficient project execution.

2. Support creation of standardized outputs, dashboards, and data structures aligned with evolving deal requirements.

3. Assist in capturing learnings and best practices to strengthen team capabilities across engagements.

- Firm reinvestment activities

1. Support internal initiatives focused on capability building, including knowledge development, research, and content creation.

2. Contribute to preparation of internal materials and analysis supporting broader team priorities.

3. Participate in firm-led efforts aimed at strengthening delivery quality, efficiency, and value creation impact.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in consulting, transaction advisory, value creation, or related analytical roles, preferably with exposure to deal environments.

- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to structure, interpret, and synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights.

- Solid understanding of financial statements, key business drivers, and operational performance metrics.

- Exposure to M&A / deal advisory engagements, including operational diligence, integration, carve-outs, or transaction-related analysis.

- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-intensity deal environments with strong ownership and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear, structured, and concise manner.

- MBA from a top-tier business school or equivalent relevant educational background.
