Senior Associate - Direct Tax - Law Firm/Big4

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Direct Tax practice of a Tier 1 law firm in Mumbai. This is an excellent opportunity to gain deep exposure to both domestic and cross-border transactions, tax advisory, and litigation matters while working with a highly reputed team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on complex direct tax issues across industries

- Work on domestic as well as international tax transactions and advisory assignments

- Support and lead aspects of tax structuring, compliance, and litigation matters

- Collaborate closely with partners and team members on client deliverables

- Conduct legal and tax research, prepare opinions, and assist in drafting submissions

Requirements:

- Qualified CA / LLB / LLM

- 3-6 years of relevant experience in direct tax (law firm / Big 4 / consulting environment preferred)

- Strong technical knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and international tax principles

- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
