Senior Associate - Credit/Investment Research

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Associate - Credit Research to join the Investment Research team supporting global asset managers. The role involves close collaboration with Portfolio Managers and Senior Research Analysts, providing deep fundamental research and actionable insights to aid investment decisions.

The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of deliverables, manage multiple client interactions, and guide junior analysts - ensuring the highest level of analytical rigor, accuracy, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive credit research support to global asset managers across varied industries.

- Build and maintain financial models, research notes, and screeners for companies under coverage.

- Conduct detailed capital structure and covenant analyses.

- Prepare earnings summaries, credit outlook reports, and investment recommendation notes.

- Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.

- Prioritize and execute multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

- Review, mentor, and guide junior analysts to maintain quality standards.

- Ensure all deliverables align with industry best practices.

Required Expertise:

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in credit research with exposure to US/European capital markets.

- Strong understanding of corporate structures, debt instruments, and credit covenants.

- Advanced Excel modeling and analytical capabilities.

- Excellent report writing and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Professional, team-oriented approach with a focus on quality.

Good to Have:

- Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, or Thomson Reuters.

- Professional qualifications like CFA or equivalent in finance.
