Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of fundamental credit investing experience
- Ideally 7+ years of total experience
- Must have experience covering North American or Western European corporate credit
- Experience must be in a Buy-Side Credit Analyst role
Non-Negotiables
Candidates must have experience in:
- Corporate credit (not Financial Institutions)
- North American or Western European credits (not Indian / Asian credits)
- Buy-side credit investing (not only ratings or investment banking)
Preferred / Ideal Experience:
- Experience covering Leveraged Loans and/or High Yield (HY) Bonds
- Exposure to distressed credit or investment grade credit may also be considered
- CFA Level 3 cleared and/or MBA from a reputed institution
Key Responsibilities:
1. Primary Underwriting
- Underwrite primary and secondary leveraged loans and high-yield bonds
- Credits issued by North American / Western European corporates
Transactions may include:
- LBO
- M&A
- Growth Capital
- Refinancing
- Dividend Recapitalization
- Restructuring
2. Post-Investment Monitoring
- Monitor performance of assigned credit portfolio
Track:
- Earnings
- Corporate actions
- Market developments
- Sector trends
- Credit events
3. Investment Recommendations
- Maintain Buy / Sell / Hold views on portfolio companies
- Present new investment ideas within coverage universe
- Contribute insights to the Investment Committee
4. Idea Generation & Collaboration
- Track industry, macroeconomic, and credit market trends
- Collaborate with the global credit team

- Credit Underwriting & Investment Memo Writing
- Experience preparing investment memos for Investment Committee
- Ability to articulate credit thesis and recommendations
Communication:
- Ability to present investment ideas effectively to Investment Committee
Organizational & Team Skills:
- Strong organization and ability to work independently within a team structure
