About the Role


We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Senior Associate Compliance to strengthen our Finance and Taxation team. The role requires strong working knowledge of TDS, GST, and statutory compliances, hands-on experience in filing returns, and proficiency in SAP and Excel. The candidate should be detail-oriented, with a solid understanding of tax laws, and capable of handling operational compliance independently.

Key Responsibilities


- The role involves preparation and filing of TDS returns, GST returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and other statutory filings. It includes accurate calculation, payment, and reconciliation of TDS and GST liabilities, along with managing vendor and customer compliance documentation such as Form 16 or 16A and GST reconciliation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory requirements under the Income Tax Act, GST Act, Companies Act, and other applicable laws while monitoring due dates for returns, challans, and forms. The position also requires support during internal and external audits by preparing schedules and reconciliations.

- The role further includes assisting in handling tax assessments, audits, and litigation matters related to direct and indirect tax. It requires preparation of replies to notices, drafting submissions, and coordination with consultants or authorities whenever required. The candidate will maintain compliance trackers, ensure accuracy in compliance MIS reports, reconcile GST input credit, TDS versus books, and other statutory balances. Identifying gaps in processes and supporting automation or streamlining initiatives is also expected.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

- The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and statutory compliances, hands-on experience in return filing and reconciliations, and proficiency in Advanced Excel with working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA preferred.


- Understanding of tax litigation and compliance risk management will be an added advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

- CA is preferred, however commerce graduates or postgraduates with a strong compliance background may also apply.


- Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or corporate finance with experience in SAP and Excel-based compliance reporting desirable.
