Senior Associate - Capital Markets - Law Firm

A reputed law firm is looking to onboard a skilled Capital Markets Associate with 4-7 years of experience, specifically on the legal execution side of IPOs, QIPs, and FPOs. The role offers a hybrid work model, a Mumbai-based team, and a more balanced deal flow perfect for those seeking high-quality work with sustainable hours.

About the Role:

- This role is ideal for candidates who have worked on the legal side of capital markets transactions, conducting legal due diligence, drafting and commenting on offer documents, and advising on regulatory compliance. Were not looking for someone in a client-facing or in-house coordination role this is a law firm, execution-focused position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting legal due diligence for IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, and other capital markets transactions

- Drafting and reviewing DRHPs, RHPs, placement documents, and other regulatory filings

- Providing legal comments on offer documents and coordinating with intermediaries

- Advising on SEBI ICDR, LODR, and Companies Act compliance

- Working with regulators and stock exchanges for approvals and observations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. 4-7 years PQE, with experience primarily on the legal advisory side

2. Strong grasp of SEBI regulations and capital market processes

3. Excellent drafting and legal analytical skills

4. Prior law firm experience in capital markets is essential
