Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of the Big4 firms for a Senior Associate - Business Valuations role with 3+ years of relevant experience in valuation advisory and financial modeling. The role involves working on business valuations, Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), and goodwill impairment testing as part of financial reporting and transaction support engagements. The candidate will be responsible for valuing intangible assets and business interests while delivering analytical insights to clients and supporting complex valuation assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform business and equity valuations using income, market, and cost approaches (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)

- Execute Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) engagements in accordance with ASC 805 / IFRS 3

- Conduct goodwill impairment testing under ASC 350 / IAS 36

- Perform valuation of intangible assets such as customer relationships, technology, trademarks, and non-compete agreements

- Build and review financial valuation models and perform sensitivity analysis

- Conduct industry, market, and comparable company research to support valuation assumptions

- Prepare valuation reports, presentations, and technical documentation for clients and auditors

- Work closely with audit and transaction teams to provide valuation support

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- CA / MBA (Finance) - Mandatory

- 3+ years of experience in business valuation, financial advisory, or valuation consulting

Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Business Valuation

- Purchase Price Allocation (PPA)

- Intangible Asset Valuation

- Goodwill and Asset Impairment Testing

- Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting and client-facing environment
