Senior Associate - Audit (3-8 yrs)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate - Audit to join our dynamic audit team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of auditing principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Perform risk assessments and develop audit programs.
- Conduct testing of internal controls and substantive procedures.
- Document audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff.
- Review the work of junior team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and evaluate complex accounting and auditing issues.
- Stay up-to-date on current accounting and auditing standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting or internal audit.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent certification
preferred.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards (e.g., GAAS, IFRS).
- Experience with audit software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
