Senior Associate/Assistant Vice President/Senior Manager - Pre IPO/M&A/Private Equity

Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai as a Sr. Associate/AVP/Sr. Manager. In this capacity, you will sit at the intersection of strategic decision-making and capital deployment, managing end-to-end deal execution for Pre-IPO, M&A, and Private Equity mandates. You will work closely with senior leadership, institutional investors, and target company management teams to drive complex transactions from inception to closure. Your contribution will be pivotal in shaping the firm's investment thesis, optimizing capital structures, and delivering superior value to our stakeholders through rigorous financial analysis and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end execution of M&A and Private Equity transactions by coordinating with legal, tax, and financial advisors to ensure seamless deal closure.

- Develop sophisticated financial models and valuation frameworks to support investment committees in evaluating high-stakes Pre-IPO and growth-stage opportunities.

- Prepare comprehensive investment memos and pitch decks for potential investors to facilitate successful fund-raising initiatives and capital market entries.

- Conduct deep-dive industry research and competitive benchmarking to identify actionable investment themes and strategic growth levers for our portfolio companies.

- Manage stakeholder relationships by providing clear, data-backed insights that influence critical corporate finance decisions and long-term business strategy.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building complex financial models and performing detailed valuations (DCF, LBO, Comps) to support investment decision-making.

- Proven ability to navigate the full lifecycle of M&A and Private Equity deals, including due diligence, term sheet negotiation, and transaction structuring.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to senior stakeholders and institutional clients.

- A proactive mindset with the capacity to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, typical of a premium investment banking or corporate finance setting.

- An educational background from a top-tier business school or professional certification (CA/CFA/MBA) is highly preferred to ensure technical rigor.
