We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President Architecture to lead our architectural practice, drive design excellence, and shape the strategic direction of high-impact projects across diverse sectors.
Role Overview:
The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading the organization's architectural vision, design strategy, and project delivery excellence. This leadership role requires a seasoned architectural professional with strong business acumen, exceptional design expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, stakeholders, and internal leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest standards of design quality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and drive the architectural vision, design philosophy, and strategic direction of the organization.
- Lead and oversee the architectural design function across multiple projects and business units.
- Develop innovative architectural solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and commercial objectives.
- Identify emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
Project Leadership & Delivery:
- Provide executive oversight for architectural projects from concept development through execution and completion.
- Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to project objectives.
- Review and approve design concepts, construction documentation, and project deliverables.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, government authorities, and industry partners.
- Lead client presentations, design reviews, negotiations, and strategic discussions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on architectural, technical, and sustainability-related matters.
Team Development & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of architects, designers, and project leaders.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and capability development within the architecture function.
Compliance & Sustainability:
- Ensure all projects comply with applicable building regulations, zoning requirements, codes, and industry standards.
- Champion sustainable design practices and environmentally responsible building solutions.
- Promote the integration of green building principles and emerging sustainability frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Professional architectural licensure/certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in architectural design, planning, conceptualization, and project execution.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex architectural projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of sustainable architecture, green building standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and business leadership.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in architectural design and modeling tools, including:
i. AutoCAD
ii. Revit
iii. BIM Platforms
iv. SketchUp
v. Other industry-standard architectural and visualization software
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and construction processes.
- Understanding of design coordination, contract administration, and technical documentation.

- Prior experience in a senior leadership role such as Vice President, Director of Architecture, Design Head, Principal Architect, or equivalent.
- Experience managing multiple high-value architectural projects simultaneously.
- Exposure to large-scale commercial, residential, institutional, industrial, or mixed-use developments.
