Our client is seeking a motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on delivering data-driven insights for upstream supply chain processes and supporting planning, analytics, and performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong interest in supply chain management and talent development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Upstream Analytics & Dashboards:
- Develop dashboards for upstream supply chain performance.
- Provide actionable insights to planners and buyers, highlighting opportunities for service improvement, cost reduction, and cash optimization.
- Support planning teams with periodic upstream data analysis.
Material Master Data:
- Investigate and resolve master data issues in collaboration with business units.
- Monitor adherence to master data standards and report usage metrics.
- Assist in preparing monthly KPI reports related to material master data.
Upstream Supply Chain Scorecard:
- Conduct data accuracy gap analyses across business units for key KPIs.
- Support development of scorecard tools and methodologies.
- Analyze assessment results and present insights to management.
Technology & Process Development:
- Contribute to multi-way data exchange projects.
- Assist in identifying relevant analytics and insights training programs.
- Track and report training effectiveness and completion rates.
Competency & Performance:
- Align KPI competencies with business objectives and integrate them into reporting.
- Identify top performers across business units and track progress trends.
- Support implementation of competency-based performance evaluations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5-7 years in supply chain or related fields (internships and co-op experience considered valuable).-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Interest in talent development and skills management.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and terminology.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
