Senior Analyst - P&C Underwriting - US Insurance

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform end-to-end underwriting support for new and renewal business within the defined scope and guidelines.

- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources including emails, workflows, and third-party systems such as MVR, ISO, and loss run reports to support the underwriting decision process.

- Evaluate and verify submitted information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with underwriting standards.

- Prepare and compile data and analytical reports that assist underwriters in making informed decisions regarding policy terms and risk acceptance.

- Collaborate closely with underwriters to review risk profiles, identify missing data, and ensure timely resolution of queries.

- Support the development of underwriting reports, dashboards, and metrics to enhance business insights and decision-making.

- Ensure all documentation, files, and records meet quality and audit standards.

- Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy of underwriting operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Master's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

- 3-6 years of experience in P&C underwriting support for US insurance

- Strong understanding of underwriting processes, risk assessment, and policy guidelines

- Proficiency in working with underwriting tools, databases, and reporting systems

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal)

- Strong MS Excel skills and ability to manage large data sets accurately

- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
