Senior Analyst - Litigation Finance

Role & Responsibilities:

- Support the Litigation Investing Group in research, underwriting, and investment decision-making processes

- Create, maintain, and update databases to track litigation claims, portfolio performance, and outcomes

- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on claims status, portfolio valuation, and investment performance

- Participate in discussions with counterparties (law firms, stakeholders) to gather updates and insights on ongoing cases

- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts for valuation, pricing, and investment analysis

- Ensure funding requests align with approved deployment schedules and underwriting assumptions

- Assist in underwriting activities by reviewing legal documents such as engagement letters, co-counsel agreements, and client intake forms

- Collaborate with internal teams including legal, finance, and investment teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance

- Ensure adherence to confidentiality policies and disclosure guidelines

- Conduct research and analyze public and market data relevant to potential litigation investments

- Track deal pipeline, maintain investment databases, and support portfolio monitoring activities

- Handle ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and data management tasks as required

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification in Finance or related field

- 3-8 years of experience in financial modelling, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, credit research, or asset management

- Exposure to litigation finance, structured credit, or private credit is preferred

- Strong expertise in financial modelling, cash flow forecasting, and data analysis

- Excellent command over Microsoft Excel and data handling tools

- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail

- Good understanding of investment processes, underwriting, and financial analysis

- Ability to interpret legal/financial documents and work closely with legal teams

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
