Description:
We are seeking an experienced ESG professional to support and lead sustainability consulting engagements. The role involves working across global ESG frameworks, driving high-quality project delivery, and partnering with clients to build impactful sustainability strategies, disclosures, and reports.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of global ESG and sustainability reporting standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, BRSR, CDP, CDSB, UNPRI, SDGs, and IFRS S1/S2.
- Apply GHG Protocol principles to conduct carbon footprinting and support CSR initiatives.
- Develop end-to-end sustainability and ESG reports, frameworks, strategies, roadmaps, and target-setting plans.
- Bring hands-on experience from the ESG/sustainability consulting domain with the ability to meet tight project timelines.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of ESG ratings and methodologies across key rating agencies.
- Manage client communication, project execution, and delivery with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Draft and contribute to ESG-, sustainability-, and climate-related proposals and RfPs.
- Interpret and simplify sustainability standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements for reporting and advisory purposes.
- Conduct materiality assessments, gap analyses, competitive benchmarking, and strategic industry research.
- Translate global ESG regulations into actionable insights and product requirements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior consultants as needed.
Qualifications & Skill Set:
- Expertise in Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) domains.
- Strong knowledge of GHG accounting and carbon footprinting.
- Excellent communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability in project management, execution, and timely delivery.
- Experience in proposal development and business development activities within the ESG space.
